With New Years having come and gone and real winter finally arriving in the mountains, Asheville Adventure Rentals has a few big plans for 2016. We’re not allowed to tell you what the biggest change is yet, but don’t worry, the big reveal will be soon!

In the meantime, here are a few things that are happening:

1. New models and expanded inventories of SUPs and kayaks!

We just brought in four new models of inflatable SUPs and two of hard SUPs. We will also be carrying a whole new brand of SUP coming in soon- Imagine SUP! We just got in Perception’s new Pescador Pro – a fishing kayak that is stacked with built-in features. The newly redesigned Nomad (Newmad?) from Dagger will start to make its debut later this month, and we’re looking forward to all the other new colors, designs, and models of boats that will trickle in throughout the year.

2. New storage solutions!
Say goodbye to the white tent! While it has been adequate storage for us in the past, we’re ready for bigger and better things. In the near future, this structure will be taken down and something new (and more) permanent will take its place.

3. Second Location this Summer!
This summer we’re teaming up with the new Smoky Mountain Adventure Center (SMAC), the newly finished building next to Carrier Park. They offer climbing and other activities, and we’ll be there offering tubing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, and reservations for our longer trips as well. We look forward to seeing you at the SMAC!

4. Booze!
Nothing says Ahhhh like cracking a cold beer on a summer’s day. We are in the (long) process of getting our ABC permit and hope to be able to serve you a can of your favorite local brew very soon!
