Great Time

I have paddled with French Broad Outfitters about 5 times now. Each time is truly a hassle-free experience. Over the years as booking has moved from in person on the phone to over the internet, the quality of service remains the same...top notch! To my recollection, I have never had to wait past launch or shuttle time. Just a great place to go and experience the French Broad!

Lots of Fun

The people here are super friendly and efficient. They have a cute dog named Felony and that’s always a bonus in my book. The safety debriefing is short and casual, you hop on the shuttle, get off to grab your tube, and float. You pass some breweries, some trees, you know the deal. 3 hours later, they helped me get out of my tube and we parted ways, super easy process!

Beautiful Paddle

The highlight of our trip to Asheville! FBO was friendly and easy. They got us safely to the river and helped us set off. We chose the Biltmore section of the river to kayak, great views! The river had a nice current and a few small rapids to create some excitement. I would definitely recommend some kayak experience for such a long paddle. Be sure to bring shoes that can get wet!

Vacation Highlight

My family took a vacation to Asheville this year with some extra people. We had to rent a kayak so we'd have enough boats for everybody. We called French Broad Outfitters, conveniently located minutes from town and from Hominy Creek. We kayaked as long as we wanted to and then returned the kayak the next day. They were quick and courteous and we had a blast!
